Just another day...the weekend.
For many, it is a time to take a sigh of relief and have a rest or spend time with their families.
Carers, are out there regardless. 24/7. The standard and quality of care is just as it is for any other day of the week. Care needs , don't 'ease up' because it is the weekend...if anything, a carers programme is not only doubled to begin with ( Half of the workforce on, half off) but should there be any changes and extra visits to get covered...well, quite simply they are.
I know from my own experience what a task this must be for those having to reprogramme, rearrange, contact the carers - along with the ladies and gentleman
or their families, of those requiring the care.
I think together, they must have a magic wand!
Maybe I was just lucky to be a part of such a good team.
Rest when you can but thank you for being out there. x
